Antonio Serro, 64, of South Plainfield, passed away on April 8, 2018 in New York City, New York.
Born and raised in Portugal to the late Joao and Eugenia Serro nee Esteves, he moved to the United States in the 1970s where he went on to meet and marry his beloved wife Ana Donaire.
He was an electrician with Campbell Soup Company in South Plainfield before his retirement. He was an avid car enthusiast who enjoyed car shows and new innovations in the industry. Most of all, he enjoyed the quality time spent with his family, especially his children.
Surviving are his beloved wife Ana Serro nee Donaire, his loving children Miguel, Laynie, and John Paul, his dear siblings Grace Serro and John Serro and wife Patricia, as well as his extended family and friends.
Family and friends are welcome to gather on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 9:30 to 11:30AM at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00PM at The Church of the Sacred Heart, South Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
