Hillsborough – Ida P. (Alfare) Krupsky, on her 97th birthday, passed away on April 9, 2019 at her residence in Hillsborough. Born and raised in West New York, NJ to the late Germano and Teresa (Masarie) Alfare, Ida lived in Hillside from 1958-1987, moved to Milford until settling to Hillsborough in 2011.
In 1992, Ida retired from Bristol-Myers Squibb where she worked in the purchasing department and was a member of the board of their credit union. She was the former secretary of the Home Owners Association for Fox Hill Condominiums in Milford, belonged to the Riegel Ridge Senior Citizens and was a member of Golden Agers at St. Edward Parish also located in Milford.
Ida enjoyed sewing, reading, travelling and loved spending time vacationing with her family.
Predeceased by her husband Michael A. Krupsky, Sr., three sisters and a brother, Ida leaves behind her children; Rita Korlesky and her husband Robert, Eileen Rothacker and her husband Thomas all of NC, Susan DelleChiaie and her husband Donald of Westminster, MA and Michael Krupsky, Jr. and his wife Lois of Lebanon. She also is survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 beginning at 3:00 pm. A concluding prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 6:30 pm.
On Wednesday, April 17, 2019, family and friends are invited to gather directly at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, 600 Harris Avenue, Middlesex, NJ 08846 for a 9:30 am funeral mass. Mausoleum entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge.
In lieu of flowers, donations sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
