Q: What will you never forget about Ismael?
A: I considered him to be a second father figure and at the same time he was still one of the boys. He’d crack jokes, have a beer & just chop it up. I remember visiting up there waiting on Rog to finish doing some running around he had to do and Ismael let me borrow his car just so I can occupy my time. As a man and father myself to do something like means you have to see something in that person to let them drive your car or somebody spiked his coffee. Whatever it was, he spoke to me like a father would, where to go, be careful driving in certain areas etc. So from the times I spent with him, he had a good heart, a great father, and I’m grateful for the impact he had on my life. Thank you Ismael. You’ll be missed.
