Kerry D. Lush, 71, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at home surrounded by his family. 

Born in Plainfield, Kerry grew up in South Plainfield and had been a resident of Middlesex for over 40 years. 

Kerry was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and competing in-and winning-horseshoe tournaments.  He was a dedicated and proud member of the South Plainfield Elks BPOE #2298, Elizabethtown Gun Club and the East Coast Gold Cup Horseshoe Club in Landisburg, Pennsylvania. 

Predeceased by his parents Charles and Harriet Lush (Fosbre), a sister, Sue Lush and Greg Lush, Kerry is survived by his lovely wife Carole; his children, Kristine Pacewicz (spouse, David), Kathy Russo (spouse, John) and Thomas Olson (spouse, Beatrice); sister, Sherry Lush-Burdett (spouse, Rick); and brother, Eric Lush (partner, Nancy) ; his grandchildren that he adored Alexis, David and Kylie Pacewicz and nephews, Jed Lush, Travis Burdett and niece Danielle Brundage. Also surviving are numerous extended loving relatives and friends.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 4-8pm in the Middlesex Funeral Home 528 Bound Brook Rd. Middlesex, NJ 08846

The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 10am at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Middlesex.

Immediately following mass, Kerry will be laid to rest at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
