Lee E. Anderson

South Plainfield - Lee E. Anderson, 71 died on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.

Lee was born in Plainfield and was raised in Madison. In 1966 he moved to South Plainfield where he resided until October 2009 when he moved to Genesee, Pennsylvania.

He worked for Glaxo Pharmaceutical in Piscataway in Research and Development. From 1961-1965, Mr. Anderson served in the U.S. Coast Guard.

He was a true "Jack of all Trades" and on a regular basis was found helping others.

He is pre-deceased by his brother Roy.

Surviving are his wife Sonja (Gundersen), his 3 sons; Michael and his wife Joan of Villas, NJ, Edward and his wife Stacey and Erik and his wife Kelly both of South Plainfield and his 4 grandchildren; Christopher, David, Emily and Jack.

Relatives and friends will be gathering on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ 07080.

Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
