Peter Emery Loving Husband, Father, Son, Grandfather, Brother & Uncle South Plainfield - Peter Emery, 59, died on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at JFK Medical Center in Edison with his supportive family by his side. Born in Newark, he resided in Colonia before settling to South Plainfield twenty years ago. He worked at Lee Linear Manufacturing located in Piscataway as a Bearing Manager for several years. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid reader. He is predeceased by his father Walter Emery. Surviving are his wife of nineteen years; Kathleen (McGrath) Emery, his children; Jeffrey of Ocean County, and Matthew and Catherine both of South Plainfield, his mother Margaret of Jackson and by his siblings Walter and wife Donna of Bayville, Steven of Somerset and Aileen and James Smith of Kinnelon. He also leaves behind his grandson Jeffrey, his Aunt Dotty Nicoll of Manahawkin and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 7, 2008 beginning 9:00 AM at McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, NJ followed by a 10:30 AM funeral liturgy at the Shrine of St. Joseph RC Church in Stirling. Interment will follow in Hazel Wood Cemetery in Rahway. Relatives and friends may attend the visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, April 6, 2008 from 2- 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, 28 Kennedy Boulevard, East Brunswick, NJ 08816 would be appreciated.
