Frank Vakerich Carpenter South Plainfield - Frank Vakerich, 79, died on Friday, March 7, 2008 in the Haven Hospice Unit of Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. Born in South Plainfield, Mr. Vakerich is the last surviving sibling of nine children born to John & Ann. He has been a life long resident of the boro. A carpenter by trade, Mr. Vakerich had been self employed locally for many years. Predeceased by his eight siblings, he is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anna (Cremone) Vakerich, his four children, SueAnn Gaster and her husband, John W. of South Plainfield, Frank Jr. and his wife Jean of Pennsylvania, Debra Mohan and her husband, Gene of South Plainfield and Linda Smith and her husband, Dennis of South Plainfield and his seven grandchildren, John Eric Gaster, Hollie Gaster, Sean Mohan, Bryan Mohan, Ryan Vincent, Emily Falluchi and Jesse Falluchi. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March, 11, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10, 2008 from 4-8 PM and Tuesday, March 11, 2008 from 10:00 to 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers donation in his memory may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or the Epilepsy Foundation of New Jersey, 429 River View Plaza, Trenton, NJ 08611.
