Obituary of Barbara L. Ballard

Barbara L. Ballard, 83, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 in La Jolla, CA.
Born in Camden, Barbara grew up in Glouchester. In 1965 she settled to South Plainfield and recently relocated to Del Mar, CA in 2014.
Barbara and her late husband Raymond enjoyed traveling the world together during Raymond's time serving our country in U.S. Air Force.
During her worldly travels, Mrs. Ballard worked in Radio prior to joining the WERA Radio Station in Plainfield. In addition she worked in the Office of Congressman Robert Franks and the HealthCare Institute of New Jersey.
Barbara served as President of the Central Jersey Chamber of Commerce, was an active member of the New Jersey Republican Party and was actively involved with the Girl Scouts of America. She also enjoyed playing bridge and gardening.
Surviving are her daughters, Kimberly Ballard of Del Mar, Ca. and Deborah Gemenden and her husband Randy of South Plainfield; brother, Ralph Douglass; grandchildren, Jaclyn LaMotta and her husband Michael and Randy Gemenden and his wife Jessica and great grandchildren, Katlyn, Alexa, Vanessa and Griffin.
Relatives and friends will be joining together for visitation on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 1-5pm in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Interment will be held privately at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
