Piscataway - Edythe Marion DeFiore, 85, died Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at home surrounded by her family.
Born and raised in Middlesex, Edythe resided in Scotch Plains for a number of years before settling to Piscataway in 2001.
For almost twenty years, Edythe worked the assembly line for C.R. Bard in Murray Hill until her retirement. She enjoyed puzzles and bowling and had an interest in carpentry.
Predeceased by her husband who died in 2000, Joseph, surviving are her seven children, Sharon Lenar (Arthur) of Toms River, Linda DeFiore of Piscataway, Donna Mahachek of Bangor, PA, Patricia Banko (Skip) of Phillipsburg, NJ, Joseph Jr. (Lorraine) of Piscataway, Jeffrey of Piscataway and Susan Scaccia (Ron) of Martinsburg, WV; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 11AM in McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080 follow by interment in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
Family and friends may attend visitation on Sunday from 4-8PM in the funeral home.
