Obituary of Bernice Jeronowitz

Bernice Jeronowitz, 80, of South Plainfield, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2017 at JFK Haven Hospice in Edison.
Born and raised in Mount Carmel, PA to the late Martin and Catherine Oshman, she went on to marry Robert Jeronowitz after his time in the US Marine Corps. They settled in South Plainfield in 1963 where they raised their family. Bernice devoted 35 years to Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center as a volunteer where her recognition of over 10,000 hours to her community is displayed at JFK Medical Center. Above all, Bernice was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending quality time with her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her eight siblings.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 60 years, Robert Jeronowitz, her loving children, Debbie Justin and husband Dave, Linda DiBenedetto and husband Art, and Robert Jeronowitz and wife Kaye, and her cherished granddaughter Nicole DiBenedetto and fiancé David Pinkham, her dear siblings Gertrude O'Reilly and husband Robert, and Joseph Oshman, and her many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00PM on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield.
Funeral services will begin with a prayer at 9:30AM on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the funeral home with A Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00AM at The Church of the Sacred Heart, South Plainfield.
Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
