I still miss you Aunt Eleanor. You are in a better place. When I think of you, I think of the words "family", "compassion", "love" and a woman of "strength". Until we meet again, you are always in my heart and thoughts. I love you and your children.

I wanted to share something I posted on FaceBook today. We loved Eleanor dearly and I was one of those orphans who's life was changed forever due to her selfless love. "Many may know that for the first 6 months of my life I was considered an orphan. This week we lost someone very dear to my heart. Eleanor Mortland (yes, I was named after this great woman/missionary). I was only days old when I was dropped off at her small apartment in Korea, which she shared with 3 other roommates. She decided to keep me there..knowing her independent spirit, probably secretly:) I had a privileged first 6 months of life! They pampered me, loved on me and I am told held me in their arms 24/7! Thank you, Eleanor, for giving me such a great beginning into this wonderful life I now have..filled with Christ, a great family, and friends! Thank you for the prayers you sent my way my entire life, for never giving up on me; staying connected with me, my adoptive family and now my very own family! We all now know that those first formative years are so imporant...my first few months shaped me forever! Thank you for sharing my story with me! It will be passed down in our family from generation to generation as a reminder of how one selfless, loving person can change the course of not just one life but many more to follow." Love, Eleanor Tim, and Ben Ramseier, Randi and Erik Struck, Erik and Shoshannah Wilkerson
