Joan Arlene Kratz, age 72, died peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2014 at her home in Piscataway, NJ with her loving family by her side.Born, June 16, 1942 in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Stephanie Testori. She lived in North Bergen, NJ all her life before moving to Piscataway, NJ in 2007. Joan was retired from John Hancock Insurance where she had worked for many years.In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased in 2003 by her husband of 31 years, William Kratz. She is survived by her sister, Elaine Palazzo and brother-in-law Alfred Palazzo of Piscataway, NJ; her brother, Lawrence Testori and sister-in-law Mary Testori of Piscataway, NJ; her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many caring friends. Joan adored her dog and will be especially missed by her Yorkshire Terrier, Zoie. There will be a private entombment at The Madonna Mausoleum in Fort Lee, NJ on Tuesday, October 7.In lieu of flowers please make a memorial contribution in Joan's name to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 1111 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY 11714.
