John D. Owens, 52, passed away December 3, 2014. Born in Plainfield, John was a resident of Piscataway. John had been a carpenter with John Owens Co. where he worked with his father. He was predeceased by his sister Sharon and by his nephew James Jr. Surviving are his parents, Evan and Dorothy Owens; his siblings, Debbie, Shirley, Gail and Terry and by his nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday with a 3:00 to 5:30 pm visitation followed by a 6:00 pm prayer service at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854.
