Obituary of Lynn Ventriglia

Lynn M. Ventriglia, 70, passed away January 29, 2015. Raised in Lawton, Oklahoma, she settled in Dunellen, NJ over 35 years ago. Lynn was the first female Cub Scout Master in New Jersey, a life member of the Dunellen Rescue Squad and most importantly a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, reading and volunteering her time to help others. Lynn was predeceased by her father Oluf Hansen and by her sister Christine Hansen Bost. Surviving are her loving husband, Phillip Ventriglia of Dunellen; her sons, Darren Romano and his wife Anne of Raritan and Thomas Romano of Dunellen; her step-daughter Kerri Celentano and her husband Brian of South Plainfield; her mother Lee Hansen; her siblings, Mark Hansen, Robbie Maltos and her husband James and Kim Hansen; her grandchildren, James Romano, Sarah Romano and Logan Celentano and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be Wednesday 10:00 am at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854. Committal will be private. Visitation hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lynn's name to the Somerville Elks Lodge 1068 Special Children's Committee.
