Jackson, NJ Marie (Gosk) Rickert, 86, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at her residence in the Sunrise Assisted Living in Jackson. Born and raised in Shamokin, PA to her late parents Peter and Mary (Brozoskie) Gosk, she was a resident of Middlesex from 1957 prior to moving to Jackson in 2008. Marie retired from GAF Corporation in South Bound Brook where she was employed in the sales department. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex, the former Our Lady of Mount Virgin Senior's and the Altar Rosary Society.Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Donald L. Rickert who died April 19, 2014 and her son Thomas Rickert. Marie is survived by her son Carl Rickert and his wife Bonnie of Toms River and her daughter Pamela Cooke and her husband Alan of Oviedo, FL. She also leaves behind her daughter-in-law Fran Muldoon-Rickert of Bridgewater and five adored grandchildren; Kevin, Christopher, Ana, Brian and Sarah. Visitation will take place in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Friday, July 25, 2014, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday, July 26, 2014, from 8:15 am until 8:45 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 beginning at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex. Committal prayers will be held in the chapel of Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, www.alzfdn.org.
