Lawrence J. Fratesi, 74, passed away February 27, 2015 at the JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Plainfield, he was raised in South Plainfield before settling in Piscataway in 1967.Mr. Fratesi was a mechanic and heavy equipment operator with Buck Brothers in Spotswood for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, watching and attending car races and loved to repair old boats. He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Mrs. Maryann Fratesi; his son Lawrence A. Fratesi and his wife Heather of Piscataway; his daughters Carolann Fratesi of Piscataway, Sandra Yoos of Bridgewater and Melissa McNamara of Piscataway; his sisters Gloria Laquino and Rose Marie Cole of Piscataway; his grandchildren, Steven Fratesi, Anthony Fratesi, Nicole Tames, Natalie White, Annemarie Yoos, Christopher Yoos, Joseph Tames, Matthew McNamara, Meghan Fratesi, Sarah Fratesi and Jessica Latkovich and his great grandson Anthony Fratesi Jr.Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:00 am at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854 followed by interment in the Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
