Obituary of Lynn Anne Brennan

Piscataway - Lynn Anne Brennan, 73, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in New Brunswick to the late Georg and Molly (O'Toole) Hipko, Lynn grew up in Milltown before settling to Piscataway in 1969. Prior to being employed with the Piscataway Board of Education as a certified student aid, Lynn worked in the original Dunkin Donuts of Piscataway. She also volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader for many years. A New Jersey Cajun woman, Lynn loved everything New Orleans had to offer from the food to the music. She will be missed by all who knew her. Predeceased by her first husband, Edward Rupp and second husband, Jack Brennan, surviving are her three children, Dawn Mostowski and husband Joe of Piscataway, Cindy Ford and companion, Carl DeAndrea of Piscataway and Patrick Rupp of Raritan and two brothers, Pat and William Hipko. She will also be missed by six grandchildren, Blyss, Leona, Molly, Joshua, Jeremy and Aidan and two great grandchildren, Lukas and Orion. A celebration of Lynn's life will be held at St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church, 264 New Market Road, Dunellen NJ 08812 on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 5PM. At Lynn and her family's request, they ask no one wear black, as she was a colorful person full of life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boy Scout Troop 67, 5 Wynnwood Avenue, Piscataway NJ 08854.
