Roy J. Schmidt, 72, passed away May 8, 2015 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Staten Island, he was raised in Iselin and settled in Piscataway in 1970.
Mr. Schmidt was a retired HVAC Technician with AT&T. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Mrs. Barbara Schmidt of Piscataway; his daughter Deborah Ciser and her husband Alan of Bridgewater; his son Donald Schmidt and his wife Heidi of Georgia; and his cherished grandchildren Donald, Emma, Daniel and Amanda.
Funeral services will be held Monday at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854 with a 4:00 to 8:00 visitation period followed with a closing prayer service. Committal will be private.
