Obituary of Margaret Alexis McKay

Margaret Alexis McKay Age: 72 * Formerly of Middlesex Waretown, NJ - Margaret Alexis (Keir) McKay, 72, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Green Knoll Center located in Bridgewater. Born in Newark, NJ to her late parents Alexander and Margaret (Harkness) Keir, she lived in South Bound Brook until moving to Middlesex in 1975, then relocating to Mystic Island in 2012. Margaret was formerly employed as an administrative assistant with Johnson & Johnson located in New Brunswick. She enjoyed her grandchildren, Ballroom Dancing, spending time & traveling with her friends & her beloved dog Storm and was an excellent seamtress making clothes & costumes for her children. Margaret is survived by her loving family; children Kammie Verdolina of Waretown, Kelly-Ayn McKay of Wilmington, DE and Alexander and his wife Orania McKay of Middlesex, grandchildren; Russell and Jake Verdolina and Aiden and Sofia McKay as well as her sister Helen Laidlaw of Fort Pierce, FL. Visitation will take place in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm with a 5:45 pm religious service. At the request of the family, cremation services will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, donations sent to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (www.lbda.org) would be appreciated.
