Obituary of Raffelea Tagliaferro

Middlesex, NJ - Raffelea "Rae" Tagliaferro, 88, passed away at her residence in the early hours of Monday, August 1, 2016 with her loving family at her side. Born in Plainfield to her late parents Anthony and Nancy (DelMonico) Tagliaferro, she has been a resident of Middlesex for the past forty-nine years. Twenty-five years ago, Rae retired from Mack Trucks where she worked in Bridgewater as a Secretary. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Virgin and loved to take care of others. She enjoyed baking, bowling, golfing, swimming, knitting and crocheting. In her earlier years she belonged to several bowling and golfing leagues. Predeceased by her parents and her siblings; Andrew Tagliaferro and Mia Celluzzi, Rae leaves behind her three loving siblings; Phyllis Tagliaferro of Middlesex, Vincent Tagliaferro also of Middlesex and Angelina Pagano of Toms River. She will be missed by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 8:15am until 8:45am. Funeral services will begin 8:45am on Thursday, August 4, 2016 in the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex. Burial will follow in the family plot of Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
