Middlesex - Margaret H. Adams (nee Hager), 89, passed away at her home on Friday, July 17, 2015. Born and raised in Newark, she resided Elizabeth prior to settling to Middlesex 40 years ago. Margaret was employed by the Newark Public Library and then the Bridgewater Raritan East High School where she worked as a Library Secretary for a total of 60 years prior to retiring over 20 years ago. She had a passion for reading and has an extensive personal collection of books. Margaret also loves cats and her wildlife friends which brought her much joy. She is predeceased by her husband of 45 years, John who died in 2009 and by John's daughter in law, Linda Adams and sister, Virginia Pollare. Surviving are a sister, Rosemarie Cook, brother, James Hager two nieces; Valerie Davis and her daughter, Ashley and Andrea Zitelli and her husband, Joseph and their daughter, Kate and nephews; Michael and Thomas Pollare, and James Hager Also surviving are Margaret's husband's two sons; Gregory and his wife, Janet and John Adams along with their children, Jason, Sally, Tyler and Spencer. Family and friends may join together for visitation in the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ., 08846 on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 5-9. A funeral service will take place at 8 PM Thursday. Interment services will take place at 2 PM on Friday July 24, 2015 in the chapel of Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
