Obituary of Marie A. Bolton

Dunellen, NJ - Marie A. (Krissak) Bolton, 80, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville. Born in Carteret to the late Stephen and Stefania (Kryzos) Krissak, Marie spent a majority of her life in Edison, becoming a resident of Dunellen thirty-four years ago. She took great pride in caring for her family as a homemaker. She loved wood-working, painting and crocheting. Her bright and large green thumb when it came to gardening will be missed by everyone. Marie had a soft spot for stray animals and loved helping anyone in need. Predeceased by her brother Richard, Marie leaves behind her loving husband of fifty-nine years, Harold E. Bolton, Sr. and their four children; Donna Delicato of Middlesex, Laurie McLain and her husband James of Louisiana, Harold Jr. and his wife Sue of North Plainfield and Christine Mayo and her husband Nick of Stewartsville. Marie is also survived by her eight adored grandchildren; Nicky, Stephen, Jayson, Lauren, Alexandra, Caitlin, Anthony and Josie, great-granddaughter Braelynn and by her sister Carol Miller of Carteret. Visitation will be held in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 4-7 pm and on Saturday, September 29, 2018 beginning at 9:00 am. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 in the funeral home at 9:30 am with mausoleum entombment to follow at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's name sent to Angel Pets Welfare Society (www.AngelPaws.org) would be appreciated. Any monetary donations sent will aide in the rescue and homing of stray animals.
