Edison, NJ - Daniel E. Watkins, 37, lost his struggle with drug addiction on Friday, October 12, 2018. Born in New Brunswick, NJ. Danny has been a lifelong resident of Edison.
He currently was employed as a mechanic for Caravan, Inc. in Avenel. He had a love for cooking but truly enjoyed spending time with his two children.
Predeceased by his brothers Bobby and Will Schaller, his Grandparents Theresa and Robert Schaller and Grandfather William Ellis. Danny leaves behind his two children; Alexa Lee and Daniel Caleb, his Mother and Stepfather Susan and Robert Schaller of Edison and his sister Ginette Bell and her husband Bob of Hightstown.
He also leaves behind his Father, Arthur E. Watkins, Maternal Grandmother Gloria Ellis of Whiting, Paternal Step-Grandmother Barbara Johnson-Watkins of Millport, New York and his niece and nephew Angelica and Bobby Bell and many other Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Visitation will be held in McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 6:00 pm until a prayer service beginning at 7:00 pm. At the request of Danny's family, cremation will be held private.
