Obituary of Jessie Earl Jones

Plainfield, NJ – Jessie Earl Jones, just three days shy of his 47th birthday was called home to be with the Lord.  Born in Plainfield to the late Earl and Tessie Marie Jones, Jessie has been a lifelong resident of Plainfield.

 

He was the proud owner of Xpress Mart located on North Avenue in Plainfield.  Jessie was a car enthusiast, loved money and was a very fun, dependable and independent individual.   He was active within the church community of the Greater Refuge Church of Christ in Plainfield and assisted with his grandmothers foundation; the Annie Jones Foundation.

 

Surviving Jessie are his children; Cinque, Jayshawn, Latia Dotch, twins; Jada and Janay Beck-Jones and Jibril Jones, his sister Arlene Jones and his cherished grandson ______.

 

Family and friends may gather at the Greater Refuge Church of Christ, 600 Grant Avenue, Plainfield, NJ 07060 on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 8:00 am until the 11:00 am Home Going Service.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery located in Scotch Plains.
