Obituary of Deborah Ward

Somerset, NJ – Deborah (Lee) Ward, 50, passed away at her residence surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday, February 26, 2019.  Born in New Brunswick to the late John and Florence (Lisiewicz) Lee, Deborah grew up in Spotswood and Piscataway prior to settling to Somerset in 2005.

An executive assistant for Dun & Bradstreet, Inc. in Short Hills, Deborah was employed there for thirteen years prior to falling ill.  She was a communicant of St. Matthias RC Church in Somerset and enjoyed shopping.  Deborah loved the short amount of time she was able to spend with her children and was an avid animal lover, especially her two cats; Sid and Marley.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Mary Jennings in 2006.  Deborah leaves behind her loving and supportive family; husband Peter, son Jack and daughter Rachel, sister Teresa Sarbello and her husband Joe of Tinton Falls, brother Evan Jennings of Piscataway, sister Wendy Jennings and her fiancé Lori Bene, brother Christopher Jennings of Piscataway, step-father Clarence Jennings of Piscataway, step-mother Roberta Lee of North Brunswick, four nieces and nephews as well as several extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854.  On Monday, March 4, 2019, family and friends may gather directly to St. Matthias RC Church in Somerset for a 10:30 am funeral mass.  At the request of the family, cremation will be held privately.
