Obituary of Robert Bruce Anderson

Mr. Robert Bruce Anderson, of Piscataway, passed away peacefully in his home on June 15 with his loving wife and children by his side.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Diane Marie Anderson; his children, Danielle Anderson, Rebecca Anderson and her husband Michael Lewandowski and Robert-Jon Anderson and his wife Maryann Anderson. He will also be deeply missed by his 4 grandchildren, Alexiana Gomez, and Cody, Lyla and Levi Lewandowski as well as his sister Patricia and husband Donald Geissler.

Bob will be remembered as a caring and loving husband; patient and devoted father and adoring grandfather and a friend to all he met. Bob was happiest spending time, sharing laughs and making memories with family and friends. He loved summers in the pool, fishing, a good laugh, watching his grandchildren in anything they did and cheering on Rutgers.

He served with the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Bob retired from Avaya in 2002 and after retirement, he worked part time as event staff for Rutgers University.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
