Obituary of Joan L. Sperduto

Phillipsburg- Joan L. (Jankowski) Sperduto, 80 passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 13, 2019 in Bethlehem, PA.

 

Born in Newark to the late Paul and Mary Jankowski, Joan resided in North Jersey for many years raising her three children.  Joan settled to Phillipsburg in 1996.

 

Predeceased by her husband, Nicholas “Buddy” Sperduto; daughter, Diane Conroy and son in law, Mark Zeliff; surviving are her two children, Joanne Sperduto of South Plainfield and Nicholas Sperduto and wife Kathy of Lebannon and two siblings, Mary Ellen Jankowski and Paul Jankowski.

 

She will also be missed by her three grandchildren, Christina, Kevin and Harry and great grandson, Adam.

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 17, 2019 at 9AM in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church at 10AM

 

Cremation will follow privately.

 

Family and friends may gather in the funeral home on Friday from 4-8PM.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smile Train, www.smiletrain.org or to the Karen Ann Quinlan Memorial Foundation, karenannquinlanhospice.org.
