Obituary of Jesus M. Santiago
South Plainfield, NJ – Jesus M. Santiago, 87, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Rahway. Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late David and Buenaventura (Ramos) Santiago, Jesus lived in Jersey City and has been a resident of South Plainfield for thirty-four years.
A retired machinist, Jesus worked for Capital Box Company in Hoboken and North Bergen. He was a member of Faith Fellowship Ministries in Sayreville, enjoyed playing the guitar and played in the church band.
Predeceased by six siblings, Jesus leaves behind his loving wife Ana (Ramos) Santiago, son Jay and his wife Olga of Sayreville, daughter Dianette and husband Frank of Stewartsville, two grandchildren; Jason and Monica and three great-grandchildren; Adrian, Chase and Miles.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 at McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to gather directly to Faith Fellowship Church in Sayreville on Saturday, September 14, 2019 for a 10:00 am funeral service.
Jesus will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery located in Scotch Plains.
