Janet Calderone, 79, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 surrounded by her family at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Plainfield to the late Eugene and Angelina Pesaniello, Janet was a long time resident of South Plainfield and served her family as a homemaker.
Janet is predeceased by her husband, Peter A. Calderone.
She is the loving mother to Peter (Karen) of South Plainfield, Kenneth (Barbara) of South Plainfield, Elisa Tamburri (John ) of South Plainfield, Ronald (Joia) of South Plainfield, Roy of Scotch Plains, Cheryl Gentile (Frank) of Gillette and Mark (Allan) of Toms River and the sister of Eugene Pesaniello of Piscataway and John Pesaniello of South Plainfield.
She will also be dearly missed by her sixteen grandchildren, Peter, Holly, Brianna, Alisa, Heather, Angelina, Kenneth, Ashley, Tyler, Kristen, Jenna, Matthew, Jake, Brandon, Corey and Kennedy and seven great grandchildren, Alivia, Lilyana, Kenneth, James, Bree, Bella and Mason.
Janet will be entombed alongside her beloved Peter A. in the mausoleum at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield privately.
Funeral services were held at South Plainfield Funeral Home.
