Marie Galan, 90, died on Monday, January 20, 2020 in the Complete Care at Green Knoll in Bridgewater.
Born in New York City, Mrs. Galan resided in New York and Florida before relocating to New Jersey to be closer to her family.
She worked as a bookkeeper for the former Gotham City Bank in Manhattan prior to retirement.
Predeceased by her son Frank Di Paola, Marie is survived by he daughter Eleanor Di Paola of Staten Island, NY; granddaughter, Lori Herbst and her husband Mark of Somerville and two great grandchildren, Justin and Victoria.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 10am in the Middlesex Funeral Home 528 Bound Brook Rd. Middlesex, NJ 08846.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 2-4 & 7-9pm in the funeral home.
