South Plainfield, NJ – Joan (Coiro) Rosania, 82, died on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Passaic to the late James and Stella (Butz) Coiro, Joan lived in Lodi and settled to South Plainfield almost fifty-five years ago.
Joan retired in 1997 from PSE&G where she worked for 21 as a bookkeeper in Edison and Newark. She was an avid traveler who enjoyed trips to Iceland, Australia, and throughout Europe, especially in Italy and Lithuania where she was able to trace her family’s roots and add to her research on her family tree. Joan loved to organize her photos from her trips and her research into albums and share them with family and friends.
Joan leaves behind her daughter Gina Capizola and her husband Mike of Bridgewater, son Anthony Rosania and his wife Daisy of Howell, her brother James Coiro and his wife Ann of Pennsylvania, as well as her four grandchildren; Michael, Alexandra, Antonio and Nikos.
