Obituary of John A. Burynski

Piscataway, NJ – John A. Burynski, 82, passed away on September 22, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville.  Born in Elizabeth to the late John S. and Johanna (Mango) Burynski, John lived in Roselle before settling to Piscataway over forty years ago.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, John served his country from 1957-1963.  He retired from Verizon where he worked in the Newark office as an Administrator.  He had a love for amateur radio and flying.  He worked hard to receive his pilot’s license and whenever he could, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

John leaves behind his brothers; Raymond and his wife Maureen of Piscataway and Robert of South Bound Brook.  He will be missed dearly by his nieces and nephews; Raymond, Jr. and his wife Dr. Maria, Jennifer and her husband Dean, Beth, and Jill and her husband David as well as great nieces and nephews; Rosemarie, Raymond, III, Megan and Sophia.

At the request of the family, services have been made private.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church with burial following at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
