Obituary of Glenn A. Trimpert

Please share a memory of Glenn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Danbury, CT – Glenn Andrew Trimpert, 50, passed away suddenly at his brother’s home in Danbury on October 29, 2020.  Born and raised the youngest of seven children in Plainfield to the late Albert Jr. and Joan (Hanson) Trimpert, he grew up in his childhood home until moving to North Brunswick to start his family in 1995.  In 2001, he bought his first home and in 2016, settled to Danbury to live with his brother.

For twenty-four years, Glenn was a union laborer and worked his way to laborer foreman for EPIC Construction in Piscataway.  Growing up, he had a love for baseball and was a huge sports fan.  Everyone who knew Glenn always used to joke with him saying his wedding song should have been the theme song to ESPN.

Glenn’s true passion in life was his kids.  He enjoyed watching them play sports; especially soccer, basketball, softball and baseball.  He enjoyed family trips to the annual Yankee games and beach vacations to LBI.

Glenn’s sense of humor and ability to make those around him feel comfortable will be missed tremendously.  He always had a neat appearance and was concerned constantly that he matched or the blacks he was wearing were the same shade.  He was extremely particular over his footwear – only wearing the cleanest of Nike’s around and if anyone slept over, in the morning they would find their shoes outside drying because Glenn had to clean them.

Predeceased by his parents and brother Edward Trimpert, Glenn leaves behind his son Jordan Christopher and daughter Skylar Paige, and Jennifer Trimpert, wife of eighteen years; all of Kendall Park.  Glenn is also survived by his siblings; Albert “Butch” of Danbury, Brenda Trimpert of Bridgewater, Carol Trimpert and Donna Trimpert of South Plainfield and Francis of Franklin Park as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854.  A closing religious service will begin at 3:30 pm with cremation to follow privately.  Those in attendance are required to wear a face covering and to practice social distancing.
