Obituary of Helen R. Miller
South Plainfield, NJ – Helen R. Miller, 90, passed away at The Woodlands Care Center in Plainfield on December 31, 2020. Born and raised in Guttenberg, NJ to the late David and Johanna (Griffin) Leahy, Helen married the late Robert E. Miller in 1956 and settled to South Plainfield.
She enjoyed spending time as a homemaker raising her family. Helen enjoyed reading books and baking and was a former member of Sacred Heart Church in South Plainfield.
Predeceased by her husband Robert in 1992, daughter-in-law Marielena and nine siblings; Regina, David, Robert, Tommy, Gerald, Raymond, Vincent, James and Joseph; Helen leaves behind her children; Michael R., William P., Jeffrey C. and his wife Tracy and Charles E. and his wife Maryann. Helen is also survived by her four grandchildren; Paige, Samantha, Jenna and Jason.
A private burial will take place alongside her husband at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains.
