Obituary of Jamie M. LePoidevin
Piscataway, NJ – Jamie Marie LePoidevin, 42, died suddenly at home on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Born in Plainfield to David Sr. and Marie (Gyeski) LePoidevin, Jamie has been a lifelong resident of the township.
Jamie was a loving mother and adored spending time with her daughter. Her love for children was also shared at Big Hugs in Piscataway. Jamie also worked as a part time hairdresser to help make ends meet, She was a proud member of the Middlesex American Legion Post 306 Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed playing softball, making arts and crafts with her daughter and she was an avid animal lover.
She absolutely loved her family and friends and was a beautiful, caring person. In her spare time, she would volunteer at local senior citizen facilities, veteran homes and animal rescue facilities. She was always eager to lend an ear to listen or open her arms to give the best hugs. She was a second mom to many and she will be deeply missed by all those that she crossed paths with.
Jamie leaves behind her daughter Grace and her parents; David, Sr. and Marie of Piscataway, brother David Jr. and his wife Denise of Middlesex and brother Steven and girlfriend Wendy Citarelli also of Middlesex. She will be missed dearly by her nephews; Joseph, David III and Patrick, nieces; Brianna, Ashley and Megan as well as great nephew Andrew, great niece Addison, one great-niece on the way and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Family and friends may gather directly to Bound Brook Cemetery on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 12:30 pm for a graveside service. At the request of the LePoidevin family, visitation at Middlesex Funeral Home will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations sent to the family would be appreciated. Any donations collected will be designated for a college fund for her daughter.
