Age: 95 * Formerly of Middlesex
Middlesex, NJ – Clara (DiMura) Sadowski, 95, passed away at Somerset Woods Rehab and Nursing Center in Somerset on Thursday, January 28, 2021. Born in Middlesex to the late Joseph and Angela (Darrigo) DiMura, Clara married the late Chester Sadowski and was a lifelong resident of the borough until she moved to Brandywine in Watchung in 2014.
Clara loved caring for her family as a housewife. She enjoyed cooking and loved watching television, especially the Hallmark Channel, Food Channel and Little House on the Prairie. Her favorite time was with family, especially hosting big Sunday family dinners.
Predeceased by her husband Chester who died in 2018, Clara leaves behind her loving children; Gale Palczewski and her husband Thomas of Franklin Park, Wayne Sadowski and his wife Marianne of Annandale, Gary Sadowski and his wife Carol of Lansdale, PA and Bruce Sadowski and daughter-in-law Gerry Potter of Mt. Pleasant, SC. She also is survived by four grandchildren; David and Jesse Palczewski of St. Albans, VT, Becky and Thomas Frey of Fanwood and Thomas Palczewski of Eagle Pass, TX and Andrew Sadowski of Somerville, great-grandchildren; William and Henry Frey and Josiah and Niko Palczewski as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Due to the current pandemic, Clara’s family will be holding services private. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex and she will be entombed with her husband at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations sent to Compassionate Care Hospice, 9 Lamington Road, Suite A, Branchburg, NJ 08876 would be appreciated.
