Obituary of Richard P. Wilson

South Plainfield, NJ – Richard Paul Wilson, 68, passed away at Center for Hope Hospice located in Scotch Plains.  Born in East Orange, Rick lived in Mountainside, Charleston, WV and Berkeley Heights prior to settling to South Plainfield.

Throughout his life, Rick worked as a salesman and once retired, he was co-owner of Rave Home Improvements with Rick Wilson and Dave Harper in South Plainfield.   He enjoyed golfing and loved being out on the water in his boat fishing and crabbing.

Predeceased by his father Clarence, Rick leaves behind his loving wife Paula, son Greg and his wife Jenn of Northfield, daughter Danielle Cambell and her husband Mike of Brigantine, his mother Theresa of Mountainside and his four grandchildren; Sofia, Olivia, Greggory and Melanie.

Visitation will be held in McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.  At the request of the family, cremation will be held privately.
