Obituary of Paul T. Cooper
South Plainfield – Paul Cooper, 69, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the Center of Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains.
Born in Newark, NJ, to the late Matthew and Marie, Paul spent his entire life in South Plainfield.
He was a graduate of Muhlenberg School of Radiology and later worked for the hospital from 1974 until their closing. He moved to JFK Medical Center in Edison with many of the hospital employees where he worked as a systems analyst until his retirement in 2016.
Paul was a devoted husband, father, brother-in-law and friend; he enjoyed his time with them, as well as, fishing, gardening, shopping, the beach and spending time with his Labrador Retrievers.
Surviving are his wife, Victoria ( Garzillo ) Cooper; two daughters, Meredith and Mallory Cooper and several additional family members, in-laws and dear friends.
At Paul’s request, his funeral services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the McCriskin – Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ.
