Obituary of Qui H Nguyen

Ocean - Qui Huy Nguyen, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, June 25, 2021 at home. He was born and raised in Vietnam and came to the United States in 1976 with his wife and his three children.

Qui worked at AIG for 26 years, retiring at the age of 65. He was a devout Catholic and practiced his faith daily with morning and evening prayers. He was also a key contributor to the establishment of the Vietnamese Catholic community in Jersey City. Qui loved to read history books, especially about Vietnam and the Vietnam War, as well as solving word puzzles.

He is survived by his wife Hoan, his brother Vinh, his three children and their spouses Trinh, Duong, and Huyenchau, as well as his eight grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 10:30AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church, 809 Hamilton Blvd, South Plainfield NJ 07080 followed by cremation in Holy Cross Burial Park, Jamesburg.
