Obituary of Rose M Timm

Rose Timm,89, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick

Born and raised in Elizabeth, Mrs. Timm resided in South Plainfield since 1967 before relocating to East Brunswick in 2019.

She worked on the Assembly Line at Mattel Inc. in South Plainfield for over 15 years prior to her retirement.

One of her most enjoyable things was to spend time cooking for her family especially the weekly Sunday dinner as well cooking for nearly every holiday. She also enjoyed crocheting blankets with her daughter Diane and playing bingo and various card games with her friends.

In addition, Mrs. Timm was a longtime member of the South Plainfield Senior Center.

Predeceased by her husband Henry, son Henry and siblings, Margaret Lopez, Helen Giarnieri, Henry and Rocky Giarnieri, surviving is her daughter, Diane DeaKyne of Edison; son, John Timm and his wife Kathleen of Middlesex; sisters, Louise Flynn and Clara Sutkowski both of Elizabeth and grandchildren, Nicole Kupko and her husband James of East Brunswick, Brittney Timm Carter of Louisville, Kentucky, Kristi Serio, of Metuchen, Heather Schifano , Gary McGuiness and Kimberly McGuiness. Also surviving are great grandchildren, Anthony Carter, Trinity, Lucian, Lilly, Jake , Jack, Nate, Dean, Rocco  and Savanna and Seraphina Kupko,

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 11am in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.

Following the funeral services, Rose will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 4-7pm in the funeral home.
