Obituary of Rod Kadingo
Rod Kadingo, 65, of South Plainfield passed away on February 20th, 2022 at home.
Born in Plainfield, Rod was a lifelong resident of South Plainfield and graduated from South Plainfield High School in 1974.
For a number of years Rod, along with a good friend, was the co- owner and operator of the former Roddan Home Improvements located in South Plainfield.
A talented woodworker, Rod enjoyed spending time working on various projects. One of his most favorable projects was building a stage for the Edison Valley Playhouse.
He will also be remembered as being an avid fan of both the New York Mets, and the Grateful Dead.
Predeceased by his father, John Kadingo; Rod is survived by his mother, Grace Kadingo of South Plainfield; and his brother, John Kadingo of Ortley Beach.
A memorial gathering for relatives and friends will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 10:30-12:30pm at McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
Burial of Rod’s Cremated Remains will immediately follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
