Nelson Baez Jr. 44, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022 in South Plainfield.

A lifelong resident of South Plainfield, Nelson graduated from South Plainfield in 1996.

During his youth Nelson was active and excelled in all of his sporting activities he participated in.

He had a kind soul, a good heart, was a great friend to many.

He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Cristina and Rene Luccioni, and paternal grandparents, Veneranda Baez and Brigido Baez.

Nelson is surviving by his loving parents, Magda Cristina and Nelson Sr. of South Plainfield; daughter, Magda Isabel and sister, Tanya also of South Plainfield. Also surviving are countless extend loving relatives and dear friends who will deeply miss Nelson for years to come.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the South Plainfield James W. Conroy Funeral 2456 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 beginning at 10:45am in the funeral home.

Immediately following the funeral services Nelson will be laid to rest at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia.
