Obituary of Conrad H. Crede
Conrad H. “Bud” Crede passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 in his home. Born in Elizabeth, Bud was raised in Rahway and has been a resident of Middlesex for more than fifty years.
Bud was an active and faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Middlesex and a Fourth Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus Council 12700 of Middlesex. He served in the United States Air Force and was a service technician for Frigidaire for thirty-eight years. He was as a member of the Middlesex Swim Pool Commission for forty-years, volunteered for F.I.S.H. Hospitality, served as trustee for the Traveling Seniors and belonged to several other community organizations.
Bud was predeceased by his parents, Cornelius and Eleanor Crede, his brother Harry Crede and sister Libby Ingram. He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Louise (Bounpane) Crede; his two daughters, Karen Gibbons of Ambler, PA and Susan Crede of North Brunswick, NJ; six grandchildren, Tyler, Amir, Natalie, Matthew, Shaquille, and Alexis; his brothers Bruce Crede (Reggie), Kenny Crede (Cherrie), Donnie Crede (Rosemary) and sisters Carole Krohne (Bob), Eileen Payne, Kathy Naylor (A.Z.), and brother-in-law Skip Ingram.
The family will receive friends at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 4pm-8pm. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, 650 Harris Avenue, Middlesex, NJ beginning 10:00am with Father David Skoblow officiating. Burial will follow at the Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
