Piscataway – Michael Tomaro, 89, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville.
Born and raised in Plainfield, Michael settled in Piscataway 53 years ago. After his honorable discharged from the United States Navy, Michael attended trade school for machinery. He retired from Reynolds Metals in Woodbridge.
Michael enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed building and flying model airplanes.
Predeceased by his beloved wife, who died a year prior, Phyllis; surviving are his five children, Judy, Michele, Anthony, Michael and Kenneth as well as four grandchildren.
Funeral services are private and under the direction of the Piscataway Funeral Home.
