It saddens me deeply to know that Aunt Rose has left this earth, but I know that she has been welcomed into a greater peace where she is with family and friends that have gone before.
Aunt Rose was a very special to our family. We lived behind them in Piscataway, and enjoyed many years of fun, games, ice cream and pizza, and shopping trips to Two Guys (not to mention burgers :) She was a truly special person and was a life long inspiration to me. She gave me my first job at 12 helping her with the books for the diner's; she taught me about business, she taught me how to be a strong women, and how not to worry and just enjoy. Her house was always open and an extra person was never a problem.
We would play kick ball, wiffleball, and 'antni over" in the summers. Pick cherries from the tree. Pile into the Cadillac and go to "mum-mum's" house where we learned how to make pasta, sauce, and sit and talk.
I lost touch with Aunt Rose after college. I wrote her a Christmas card one year telling her how much she meant to me and what an inspiration she was, but I had the wrong address.
Aunt Rose, you were one of a kind and the world will miss you. But now we all can take heart in knowing you are watching from above, continuing to inspire.
Love You,
June

Dear Donna and family,
I was saddened by the news of your mother’s passing. I remember her as such a kind person who was very supportive of you and your family; and our school! I will pray you find comfort with each other, especially your Dad. I find it poignant her Angel Day is All Saints Day. Yours, Judy Francisco

Rosie was one special lady! I will never forget waking up in the early mornings to open the diner and run side by side with her. I will hold your forever kindness you showed in my heart.
