Obituary of Lillian Barnes
Lillian Barnes (nee Bolesta), 81, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack.
Born in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, Lillian had been a resident of South Plainfield for the majority of her life.
Along with her late husband David N. Sr., Lillian owned and operated the former and popular Ben Feins Liquor Store in South Plainfield for a number of years.
She was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church in South Plainfield and enjoyed gardening, playing cards and spending time with family.
In addition to her husband, Lillian is predeceased by a son, Daniel; sister, Alberta DeSepio and brothers, John, Leonard, Lawrence, Frederick and Philip Dudak.
Surviving is her son, David N. Jr. of South Plainfield; sisters, Sandra Hasson of Dunellen and Beth Ann Carbonneau of Mobile, Alabama and brother, Stanley “Butch” Bolesta of South Plainfield. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and extended relatives.
Lillian’s cremated remains will be laid to rest in the Barnes family plot at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield, NJ on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 11:30am.
