Obituary of Stephen Williams

Stephen Williams, 74, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at home in Plainfield with his family by his side.

Born in Girardville, Pennsylvania, Mr. Williams grew up in Bronx, NY and resided in Wannamassa, NJ before settling to Plainfield in 1978.

Stephen worked for Coca-Cola on Staten Island for 42 years prior to his retirement in 2008.  Stephen was an avid NY Yankees and Giants fan. In addition, Mr. Williams also enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren's school and sporting events.

Predeceased by three sisters and five brothers, surviving is his wife Lynn of 50 years; daughters, Mary Pfeiffer and her husband Jason of South Plainfield and Beth Rojewski and her husband Robert of Tewksbury; son, Stephen Williams and his wife Laura of Guyton, GA; sisters, Ann Morgan of Neptune, Sarah Croce and her husband Frank of Babylon, NY and Frances Napolitano of FL. and grandchildren, Everette, Madelynn and Catherine Pfeiffer, Melanie and Elizabeth Rojewski and Nathan and Hudson Williams.

Visitation will begin at 4pm on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 followed by a 7:45pm funeral service in the South Plainfield Funeral Home 2456 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.

Cremation services will take place privately.
