I met Mary Ann while substitute teaching in Middlesex. We had an instant bond both professionally and personally. A few years later Mary Ann arranged for an interview in Susan's school for me. I got the job, thanks to her! I am now retired but remember fondly seeing Mary Ann through the years and will always be grateful for her belief in me as a teacher and her love and dedication as a single mother. I am honored to call her my friend.

Maryann is a person that will be missed by all who knew her. We got to know Maryann after she married Bobby Gwiazda and rented my parents apartment above them on East Second St. in Plainfield. Her husband died in the mid 60's and she remained living in the apartment to raise her son, Glen. As time went on, she became part of our family and became a wonderful and caring person to my mom after my father passed away. She was a wonderful mother who did a fabulous job raising her son, Glen, by herself. She was Aunt Maryann to my children and a dear friend to the whole extended family. She will be remembered with love & missed by all.
