Obituary of Kevin K. Woodring
South Plainfield – Kevin K. Woodring, 61, died suddenly on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Born in Patterson, Kevin is a lifelong resident of South Plainfield. He was honorable discharged from the United States Navy in 1985, stationed on the USS Independence.
Kevin enjoyed camping and listening to country music as well as watching the Steelers Football. Above all, Kevin valued the time spent with his family, especially his three grandchildren.
Predeceased by his mother, Nona Woodring; surviving are his wife of 26 years, Donna (Chabok) Woodring; two daughters, Crystal and Samantha Woodring and three grandchildren, Jackson, Julia and Costas. He will also be missed by his father, Joe Woodring; brothers, Kelly (Tracey) and Chris (Lorraine), nieces and nephews, Rita, Kelly Marie, Christopher, Michael, Jason and Eric; aunt, uncle, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 5:30PM in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080, family and friends may gather on Saturday beginning at 2PM in the funeral home.
Kevin will be buried in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 2PM, family and friends may gather within the funeral home at 11:30am.
