Obituary of Eileen M. Walsh

Piscataway - Eileen Walsh, 79, passed away peacefully at home on Monday morning, October 2, 2023.

Born and raised in the Bronx, Eileen graduated with the class of 1961 from St. Vincent Ferrer High School in Manhattan.  She went on to work at Morgan Guarantee Trust for 5 years before raising her four boys.

Eileen and her late husband, Robert married in 1966 and shortly after settled to Piscataway where they raised their children.

A long time communicant and former employee of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Eileen was active with her children and loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Predeceased by her husband who died in 2017, Robert E. Walsh, Sr. and daughter in law, Christina who died in 2004, she is survived by four sons; Bob (Marion) of Wayne, Michael ( Samira ) of South Carolina, Thomas ( Elaine ) of Westville, NJ and Brian (Brooke) of Cranford.

Also surviving are five beloved granddaughters; Caitlin, Brenna, Aubrey, Cassidy and Amanda and was loved by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will begin on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 9:30 AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Piscataway at 10:30 AM.

Interment will follow mass in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway, NJ

Family and friends may join together for visitation on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 4 PM to 8 PM in the funeral home.
